The fans are gutted at him, blaming Moyes for their awful campaign this season as Moyes is busy breaking club record, of course the types of records you don’t want to break.
Here’s a list of some of the achievements (I wasn’t sure what word to use!) of Moyes at Manchester United:
• First home loss to West Brom since 1978.
• First home loss to Newcastle since 1972.
• First home loss to Everton since 1992.
• First ever home loss to Swansea.
• Three defeats in a row for the first time since 2001.
• First league loss to Stoke since 1984.
• Manchester United’s worst home league form over a decade.
• First elimination from the FA Cup at the third round — something which only happened once in Alex Ferguson’s 27 years in charge.
• Manchester United are currently seventh. They haven’t been as low at this stage of the season since the 1988/89 campaign.
• Have already lost more games in the league under Moyes this season than in the past three full seasons under Ferguson.
