Pogba and De Gea should be sold

Manchester United superstars Paul Pogba and David De Gea should be sold if they want to leave, according to former Red Devils star Steve Coppell. De Gea is yet to agree to a new contract and Pogba is being linked to Real Madrid.

And Coppell thinks that there is a lot of confusion surrounding the future of the duo and claimed that they should be allowed to leave if they want to.

“If they want to go, get rid of them!

He stated that the Red Devils should sign players who would love to play for the club with pride. He is of the opinion that players should be fully committed to the clubs they play for instead of thinking about money or other big clubs around the world.

He concluded by stating that Manchester United are a club whose fan base expect the players to give it their all on the pitch, which is why such players should be targeted.

Zidane on transfers

This would usually be a Real Madrid news only but since their transfer window directly affects the Premier League – a lot of players have been linked to and fro – as the Frenchman has claimed that the club will have to sell players in order to buy.

He did, however, refuse to reveal his intentions to the press as according to him, he might not get the players that he wants.

Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard have been linked to the Bernabeu while Gareth Bale is touted to move to Manchester United.

Madrid reject United bid for Gareth Bale

Real Madrid have rejected Manchester United’s offer for Gareth Bale, according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda. As mentioned earlier, Bale has been linked back to the Premiership but United’s offer is nowhere near what Madrid want.

Inda believes that while the board want him to stay, Zinedine Zidane wants him gone. However, the Red Devils only offered around €80 million, which is far less from what they had offered last year after Real Madrid won the Champions League final against Liverpool after a brace from the Welshman.

“With Gareth Bale there is a small mess because the leadership wants him to stay because the price is ridiculous and the coach wants him to go to all costs,” he was quoted as saying.

”United only offers 70-80 million when after the final of Kiev they offered 150 million.”

Zaha and Eriksen

Wilfried Zaha might be one of the best talents in the Premier League but the clubs interested in him might not move for him after all. Both Arsenal and Tottenham have him on their radar while Manchester United have also watched his progress.

However, his £75 million price tag has put them off all they believe that he is seriously overpriced right now. Zaha recently claimed that he would like to play for Champions League club next but it seems this is just bad news for him.

Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen is another player that is hot in the transfer market, mainly owing to the fact that his contract ends in the summer of 2020, which means that he has only a year left.

However, Tottenham are not budging as they have slapped a £130 million price tag on the Dane to ward off Real Madrid.

Liverpool wins the cake

And today is all about Liverpool headlining the roundup as the Merseyside outfit have been linked with quite a few great players. For starters, Corriere Dello Sport report that Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne is a huge admirer of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

PSG, however, are interested in the player and the Italian is “bewitched” with Sarri, under whom Insigne was exceptional.

The story of the day, however, comes from Spain as Real Madrid are willing to offer Marco Asensio and €30 million for Sadio Mane, a player that Zinedine Zidane likes.

However, Liverpool rate the Spaniard at €100 million, which is why they want more cash or another player from the list of Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Isco Alarcon and Raphael Varane.

The report also adds that while Mane would like to play for Real Madrid, he won’t force a transfer because he loves Liverpool.
