Lyon president confirms Manchester City and Manchester United are looking to sign Tanguy Ndombele

Manchester United and Manchester City are looking to reinforce their midfield in the summer and have been linked with a move for Olympique Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele who has been one of the star performers for Bruno Genesio’s side.

Now Lyon president Jean Michael-Aulas has suggested that despite the interest from the English clubs, he would prefer selling Ndombele to Juventus and has asked them to make their interest formal.

Manchester United and Inter Milan are the prominent names that have been linked with the Croatian. However, he has now put all rumours to rest by admitting that he would like to kick on at Barcelona.

Barcelona’s second-choice goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen who has mostly featured for them in the Copa Del Rey wants to leave the club in the summer. Cillessen has grown increasingly frustrated playing second-fiddle to Marc Andre ter-Stegen

Cillessen told Ziggo Sports,

Despite wanting to leave the club, Cillessen has encouraged Matthijs De Ligt, one of Barcelona’s top transfer targets this time around, to take a chance and join Barcelona.

Cillessen has only made 28 appearances for Barcelona after joining in 2016 on a £11 million deal from Ajax.

Real Madrid accept €150 million bid for Gareth Bale

Real Madrid have accepted a stunningly high bid for Welshman Gareth Bale. Latest reports suggest that the Blancos received an offer in the ballpark of €150 million for the Welshman from a Chinese club and did not have any hesitation in accepting it.

Bale has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu and as such speculation has been rife that Real Madrid want close to €100 million for him. Real Madrid have reportedly accepted the bid even though Gareth Bale is not too keen on it. However, It is still unclear as to which Chinese club made the offer.

Bale wants to stick on and see how much teams like PSG and Manchester United are willing to offer to secure their services. In China, they’re trying to rope in another global superstar who can help promote football in the country.
