In the process, Real Madrid’s title defence is back on track, as they trail Atletico Madrid by only three points, albeit having played a game more. Meanwhile, Eibar sit 19th in the La Liga and are now 13 league games without a win. With only ten games remaining in the season, Jose Mendilibar’s men find themselves thick in the relegation battle....

Bale has been sidelined since suffering an ankle injury in the Champions League group game against Sporting CP in November but returned to full team training over the weekend. Ramos ponders wearing number 93 Zidane had previously earmarked the second leg of the last-16 tie with Napoli as the likely time for Bale to make his comeback, before footage of the forward looking sharp on the pitches at Valdebebas encouraged speculation that he could play at the Santiago Bernabeu this week....

Gaggioli also confirmed that Asensio has no intentions of leaving the club.
